This policy explains how ST Gardening handles personal information collected through steetongardener.co.uk. It applies to information submitted through website forms or provided when contacting the business. The policy may be updated if the website or its information practices change.
Information you provide
An enquiry may include your name, email address, other contact details you choose to provide, property location, and information about the garden work you are considering. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information that is not needed to understand your request. If you contact the business directly by email, the details and message in that correspondence are also received.
How enquiry information is used
Information is used to review and respond to garden maintenance enquiries, ask relevant follow-up questions, understand the location and requested work, and communicate about a possible next step. It may also be used to keep a record of correspondence or meet applicable legal obligations. Enquiry details are not used to send unrelated marketing unless the person has agreed or another lawful basis applies.
Technical data and cookies
Like many websites, this site may receive technical information such as browser type, device information, pages viewed, approximate usage data and the internet address used to connect. The website, hosting provider or tools used to operate a contact form may process some of this information for site delivery, security, troubleshooting or form handling. Cookies or similar technologies may be used where required for site functionality or measurement. Cookie behaviour depends on the tools enabled on the site and the visitor's browser settings.
Sharing and retention
Personal information is not offered for sale. It may be processed by website hosting, email, form or technical service providers where needed to operate the site and handle enquiries. Those providers process information in connection with their services and may have their own privacy terms. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights and site security.
Enquiry information is kept for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, maintain relevant business correspondence and meet legal or administrative needs. Retention periods can depend on the nature of the enquiry and any obligations that apply. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or otherwise disposed of securely where practicable.
Your choices and contacting the business
You can choose what information to include in an enquiry and may contact the business to ask about personal information associated with your correspondence. Depending on applicable data protection law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of certain personal data, or to object to some processing. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions. You may also raise a concern with the relevant data protection regulator.
For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected]. Please provide enough information to identify the enquiry, but do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive details.
